Cognitive Behavioral Therapist
We all have periods of time in our lives where we experience struggle. The pain of feeling that we are unworthy of love and belonging and the constant comparison between ourselves and others can make daily life difficult. We all need someone who will listen, validate and be a part of our many emotions depending on what's happening in our lives. I feel that everyone is capable of finding and maintaining the best version of ourselves when we take the time to examine the barriers in our own lives.
Asking for help can be hard and intimidating and takes a lot of courage. In therapy I will provide you with a safe environment free from judgment, preconceived ideas or comparison to others.
Our purpose in therapy will be to give you tools to navigate your present and future so you can live a happy and full life. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief to parenting support, couples counseling and beyond.
“If we can share our story with someone who responds with empathy and understanding, shame can't survive.”
― Brené Brown, Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead

“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.”
― Brené Brown
