Do you accept insurance?

I accept Cigna, United and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  If you are not insured by Cigna, United and Blue Cross Blue Shield, I am an out of network practice.  This means that I do not directly accept your insurance, but will provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance company to request reimbursement.  Fees are due immediately after your session and you receive your invoice from me if requested.

How do out of network benefits work?

I encourage you to call your insurance company before scheduling a session to find out what your out of network benefits are.  Some people have a deductible they need to meet before receiving any reimbursement.  Some are reimbursed a flat rate per session and some are given a percentage.

What are your fees?

Initial Intake Session:        $200 / 50  minutes

Individual Session:              $125 / 30 minutes

Individual Session:              $150 / 45 minutes

Individual Session:              $200 / 60 MINUTES

Payment Options

Cash, check, Venmo, Zelle and all major credit cards are accepted for payment via the patient portal on Simple Practice.  Patients are provided access to this portal.  Payment is due on the day the services are provided.

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts

If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are generally able to pay for therapy services from such accounts.  Please check your specific HSA or FSA to see if any restrictions apply.

Frequency of Therapy

Our sessions are generally 45 minutes in length but can be longer as needed.  We will agree upon consistent days and times that are available for us to meet.  Typically, patients attend weekly sessions; however, based upon needs, time and resources we can adjust the schedule together accordingly.

Cancellation Policy

If you miss your scheduled session and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, and you are unable to reschedule with the week, then you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.  This is standard procedure as not canceling timely keeps someone else from using that session time.  Thank you for being considerate of this guideline.  Emergency situations that come up can always be discussed.
